    VERS Closeout FY26
    VERS Closeout is upon us.

When checking traffic/pedestrian meters for the September readings, please remember to reset the meters to 0. This will close-out the information for FY26 so that a clean count is ready for FY27. This is also a good time to change batteries and do other maintenance.

Although you are physically resetting your meters on the ground, do not mark ‘reset meters’ within the VERS System until you enter your Oct readings.

    VERS?

  • FY26 Meter Readings – Oct 7 field ?
  • District Review Oct 15
  • Q4 QA/QC – Oct 19 – Oct 23
  • FY26 Final Visitation – Nov 6
  • FY27 Monitoring Method Review – Oct 26 – Nov 16
  • FY27 Meter Readings – Nov 9
  • FY27 Physical Meter Check
  • Physical meter testing is not required for all, but it is highly recommended that all meters be checked annually if not more often to ensure each is working correctly and setup based on Best Management Methods for the meter type. Physical meter testing is required when adding new meters or changing meter type and/or setups to ensure a 1:1 count is taking place.
  • Remember to reach out to your VERS CATT members for additional guidance and help. The VERS CATT continues to develop training and other helpful information which is posted on the NRM Gateway – VERS page. They are a great resource!
