2026 NRM CAP Selection Announcement - Spencer Taylor
I'm pleased to announce that Mr. Spencer Taylor, Natural Resources Specialist - Nashville District, has been selected for the Natural Resources Management Career Assignment Program (NRM CAP) at HQUSACE. In his current role, Spencer serves as the Nashville District’s Environmental Stewardship Business Line Manager.

The NRM CAP provides USACE field staff an opportunity to gain valuable Headquarters experience through participation in national-level teams, meetings, and initiatives, as well as direct interaction with senior leaders. The program helps participants broaden their understanding of the NRM program and Civil Works mission while bringing valuable field perspectives to Headquarters.

Spencer will join the HQ NRM team for the program's second term, serving from August 2026 through January 2027. During his assignment, he will support important national NRM priorities and contribute his experience and perspective to the team.

We are excited to welcome Spencer and look forward to his contributions. Please join me in congratulating him on his selection and welcoming him to the HQ NRM team! Ryan Hartwig
    Chief, Natural Resources Management (acting)
