Highlighting the GREAT work by the NRM Team - Releasing the Natural Resources Management Annual Report - 2025
I am pleased to announce the release of the Natural Resources Management (NRM) Annual Report for 2025, which highlights the accomplishments, performance, challenges, and impacts of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Natural Resources Management Program during the past year. This report marks the seventh year that the NRM Program has documented and shared its annual achievements, demonstrating our continued commitment to accountability, transparency, and stewardship of the nation's public lands and waters entrusted to our care. The 2025 report showcases the breadth and importance of our mission, including accomplishments across our recreation, environmental stewardship, partnership, water safety, and infrastructure support programs. It highlights how NRM personnel, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders work together to provide exceptional public service while protecting and enhancing our natural resources. Key themes addressed in this year's report include: Significant achievements across recreation, environmental stewardship, partnership development, water safety, and infrastructure support programs. Program performance metrics, including budgets, visitation, economic impacts, and operational outcomes that demonstrate the value delivered to the American public. Emerging challenges and priorities, including evolving operating conditions, public safety requirements, invasive species management, and aging infrastructure needs. Recognition of the outstanding contributions of NRM professionals, volunteers, partners, and leadership teams whose dedication has resulted in national-level accomplishments and awards. A forward-looking perspective that emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and responsible stewardship as we continue adapting to changing conditions and mission requirements. The accomplishments highlighted in this report are a direct reflection of your professionalism, dedication, and commitment to serving the public while advancing the Corps' mission. Whether supporting recreation opportunities, conserving natural resources, fostering partnerships, enhancing public safety, or maintaining critical infrastructure, your efforts continue to make a meaningful difference in communities across the nation. I encourage all personnel to review the report and share its successes with employees, partners, stakeholders, and local communities. The report serves not only as a record of what we accomplished together during 2025, but also as a reminder of the tremendous value our Natural Resources Management Program provides to the Nation.
