USACE Recreation Program - 2026 Fee Free Days
On behalf of Stephen L. Hill, Director, Operations and Regulatory Division, the attached memo officially establishes fee-free days in calendar year 2026 for the USACE user fee program. This initiative was developed by an interagency group discussion to support administration goals and priorities. USACE will recognize the following five days as the FY26 Day Use Fee-Free dates.
Calendar Year 2026 Fee Free Dates:
President’s day: February 16, 2026 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's Birthday: 16 June 2026. Independence Day weekend (July 3-5 {USA 250th Birthday Celebration}) National Public Lands Day: 26 September 2026. Veteran’s Day: 11 November 2026.
