USACE's First Leave No Trace Gold Standard Project
I'm excited to share some great news: USACE now has its very first Leave No Trace Gold Standard Site designation at Hodges Village Dam in Massachusetts.

The Gold Standard is Leave No Trace's highest level of recognition. It reflects a strong commitment to integrating Leave No Trace principles into every aspect of site operations—from visitor education to sustainable practices. This designation is not only a testament to the hard work at Hodges Village but also a model for how we can elevate environmental education and recreation across USACE.
