Modified Uniform Program Opening
Good afternoon, I wanted to provide you with a quick update on the status of the multi-agency uniform contract administered by the National Park Service. As of today, USACE has received approval for approximately 30% of the annual USACE NRM uniform budget. USACE is continuing to work the additional contracting reviews by the Department of the Interior, to gain full approval.
Starting today we will begin a modified uniform program opening based on priority need. Supervisors can submit a written justification through their District Uniform POC to their Division Representative on the National Uniform Committee for approval. The committee representatives will be able to activate the employees account to begin uniform purchases.
National Uniform Committee Representatives will be able to activate NRM staff for the following priority needs.
New Employee (Permanent & Temporary) Extenuating Circumstances (total loss of uniforms from emergency or natural disaster) Maternity Change of Command / Official Ceremony / Court Appearance National Uniform Committee Representatives:
Amanda L. Palmer, SWD Consuela (Connie) Gunter, SAD Scott Graham, NAD Holly L. Myers, LRD Coty Thompson, MVD Michele Fromdahl, NWD Jill Davis, POD Carrie Richardson, SPD Sara Jernigan, Committee Chair Though we anticipate receiving full approval, there is no current timeline on when the interagency ordering site will be fully open. Please distribute to your teams.
For any comments or questions please feel free to reach out to me directly.
Thank you for your continued support of this program.
