FY23 VERS Close-out, FY24 Physical Meter Testing/Data Entry, and FY24 Annual Monitoring Method Review

    Physical Meter Testing/Data Entry
Now open to the field. Date for having physical meter testing complete to 17 October 2023.

It will not be prepopulated with previous year’s data. Data entered through the testing will be utilized for the monitoring method review.

TRAFx vehicle meters – recommended universal settings should be implemented on the ground. Waivers for exceptions must be on file. If no waiver approved by VERS CATT, then the meter will be assigned the estimate method.

New remote reporting meters have not been approved for use at this time in the VERS program.

Also, we are requesting photos of the meters in the field to include the facing with display and manufacturer, housing and meter setup, and location setup to include wires, cuts in pavement, hose, reflectors, etc. (wide view).

When collecting September readings, this is a perfect time to test and collect the physical meter information. If utilizing VERS on the Go, then this information may be entered at the site.

Please remember that the physical meter information collected through the on the ground check and data entry will be utilized for the FY24 annual monitoring method review that opens October 20th. Without the physical meter information then the field will not be able to complete the annual review or enter meter readings for FY24.

    FY23 Meter Readings
FY23 Meter Readings to include vehicle/pedestrian meters, tallies and 3rd party provided (both monthly and annual) are due by 7 October 2023.

District POCs/VERS CATT have until the 15th of the following month to QA/QC, submit corrections and/or enter readings if needed.

VERS on the Go is available for entering meter readings while in the field. Information for accessing VERS on the GO is located on the VERS Homepage.

    FY24 Annual Monitoring Method Review

If corrections are needed, these must be processed first before projects will be able to enter FY24 readings.
