Every Kid Outdoors Passes - photos for the 4th grade pass - Suspense 14 February 2023
All, The Interagency Pass Program team is soliciting images that can we can use for the 2023-
2024 Every Kid Outdoors 4th Grade Pass. Essentially, it is a friendly competition between the
agencies to come up with the best photo of our young visitors enjoying our program. The
selected photo will be used on the pass for the upcoming school year this fall (with credit to
the photographer and agency). I think this is an awesome opportunity to get USACE on the
radar as a Federal Land Mgmt Agency, AND, it could very well give YOU 15 minutes of fame. If
you have any photos you'd like to the team to consider, please send them to Jason Owen NLT
COB Tuesday, February 14th.
I've attached previous examples of the types of images we're looking for. Here are
additional requirements:
- Must include 4th grade-age kid(s) learning and/or
experiencing the outdoors on federal lands (approx. 9-10 year olds). Other ages can also be
in the photos, including families
- Photos that reflect the diversity within the American
Student population are encouraged
- Must be high resolution, minimum 2 MB, maximum
15 GB
- Must be a good composition and/or easily cropped; in focus; with proper
exposure; not overly grainy
- Preferred file types are .png or .jpg
- No copywritten
photos, or those with watermarks, writing or symbols of any kind
- All photographs must
be taken on lands managed by one (1) of the six (6) Federal Recreation Agencies
-
Photos must model good behavior. All applicable Federal Recreation Agencies rules must be
depicted in the image
