Announcement for ENS 101 and 102 for 2022 and 2023
We are excited to share the next round of course offerings for ENS 101 and introduce ENS 102.

ENS 101 provides an introduction to the concepts of natural resource management by providing a background on the USACE approach to monitoring, managing and sustaining USACE lands and waters. This course is designed for those that are new to USACE or new to administering the Environmental Stewardship Program.

ENS 102 builds on the introduction to USACE’s Environmental Stewardship Program with the goal of providing advanced training in select areas of the Environmental Stewardship Program. ENS 101 introduced the concepts of natural resource management by providing a background on the USACE approach to monitoring, managing and sustaining USACE lands and waters. Program focus areas for ENS 102 include the ENS budget process, policy, real estate management, and current issues.

Additional information on each course along with instructions to register are provided in the attached.

Currently, there is NOT a tuition fee for either of these courses. The employee’s home organization will be responsible for funding labor and travel. In the future, these courses will be included in the PROSPECT suite of USACE training opportunities.

For additional information on ENS 101 and ENS 102, please contact Tara Whitsel by email at Tara.J.Whitsel@usace.army.mil or by phone at 814- 795-4223.

Thank you and we look forward to learning with you!

    Jeremy Crossland

Program Manager for Land Use and Natural Resources
