Nominations welcome for $50,000 Volunteer award - Suspense 21 July 2004
The Conservation Fund and the Catto Charitable Foundation sponsor an annual award, The American Land Conservation Award, given to an unsung hero working as a volunteer in his or her community on land and water issues. It is the largest cash prize in conservation; the winner receives $50,000 with no strings attached. We would appreciate your helping us get the word out to individuals and groups who work with volunteers. It is a wonderful recognition and the application process is not elaborate.
