    NRM Strategic Plan Release
Please see attached NRM Strategic Plan and Memo signed by MG Graham and distributed to leaders by Meg Gaffney-Smith, Operations and Regulatory Division HQUSACE. I want to thank all participants from the field input, our various COPs, leadership teams and HQ staff for their hard work on this. I very much appreciate the efforts of the Strategic Plan PDT and the Co- Chairs Heather Burke and Brian Mangrum for their exceptional leadership and dedicated work. The entire list of PDT members, past and current can be found at https://corpslakes.erdc.dr en.mil/employees/nrmstrategicplan/ I am also grateful for the initiation of the plan by Patti Williams (retired) who brought this need to HQ attention and not only provided leadership, but critical input before handing off to other team members.

The plan presents a framework in 4 goal areas of workforce, communication, resourcing and program delivery to provide overall guidance and direction. HQUSACE is committed to continuous improvement and engagement under these strategic goals. The work will continue with Goal Teams already established under RLAT and SAT and additional input and work will be needed by all to be successful. We will establish a rhythm to update the NRM community on accomplishments and provide access for feedback. I am looking forward to ongoing discussion and engagement as action items are developed and guidance is adjusted to meet the goals.

Thanks again to all involved in the plan and thanks to all the NRM and OPs staff for your daily efforts to meet the Natural Resources Management mission and our services to the public.

    Jeff
