Guiding Principles for Sustainable Federal Buildings
CEQ has issued updated Guiding Principles for Sustainable Federal Buildings and Associated Instructions (Guidance). The Guidance, which is attached here, is also available on sustainability.gov under “Resources and Guidance for Federal Agencies” and on our team collaboration site under “SFB aka HPSB.” Note that the updated Guidance also replaces and supersedes the Guidance for Federal Agencies on Sustainable Practices for Designed Landscapes (October 2011) and the Implementing Instructions-Sustainable Locations for Federal Facilities (September 2011), consolidating technical information and pointing agencies to up to date Federal resources and best practices for siting and landscaping.
