Clean Marina Program
Here is a copy of a memo that MG Strock signed last week regarding the Clean Marina Program. This is a voluntary program that carries significant benefits for the Corps, the marina owner, and the public. Last year during our stakeholders meeting in Nashville, the Corps concessionaires stated that they want to be included in national initiatives and receive more communications from the Corps. Here is a way to take care of that concern. I hope that our Operations Project Managers will see the value here and will take the time necessary to send letters to their concessionaires. Our concessionaire partners need to feel like true partners. Here is a place to start that relationship.
