New NRM Uniform Products Available Beginning Today
A number of new uniform products and/or improvements to existing products have been added to the NRM uniform contract for introduction into the program at various times this fiscal year.
I'm pleased to announce that the following items have been added to the program beginning today. These are the first items to be offered - additional items will be introduced as they become available.
Cargo Pants. The Cargo Pant has been redesigned for better fit, comfort and function, with 70% polyester/28% cotton, 6.6 oz. 2 Spandex material (CO95 male, CO96 female; $36.50). The pant has a crotch gusset with four-way mechanical stretch designed for greater mobility, allowing the garment to stretch and move with the wearer to reduce blow-outs. This item will be offered in addition to the existing cargo pant and both items will remain in inventory as ordering history allows. Both items are authorized for Class B Daily and Class C Work wear (not Class B formal wear).
Brush Pants. The Brush Pant has been redesigned for better fit, comfort and function, with pre-washed 100% cotton, 12-oz duck canvas material (CO99 male; CO100 female; $28.00). The pant has double front reinforced panels for increased durability in the high contact area of the pant. This item will become available on a size-by-size basis as current inventory is depleted per size, and is authorized for Class C Work wear only.
New Twill Trouser. The Mimix twill trouser has been added to the program, with 65% Polyester/ 35% cotton 8 oz. Rip Stop material (CO93 male, CO94 female; $31.50). Mimix trouser supplements the existing trouser and both trousers will remain in the program for the present time. Authorized for Class B Daily and Class C Work wear (not Class B formal wear).
Women's Trousers. The design and sizing for all women's trousers have been modified for better fit, comfort, style, and function. The new design will become available as existing inventory is depleted. A big thank you goes out to those who helped in the wear tests, and to the Uniform Committee for reviewing and recommending new and improved products in collaboration of the other agencies who share some of the same products, and for VF Imagewear for their research and product recommendations.
Have a great weekend all --
