VF Imagewear Uniform Ordering Website Is Now Open
I'm pleased to announce that the VF Imagewear uniform ordering website is now open and employees who are authorized to wear the USACE Natural Resources Management (NRM) Uniform, under ER/EP 1130-2-550, Chapter 8, "Uniforms for NRM Program Staff", can now place their FY19 uniform orders.

Due to the lengthy delay this year, we are extending the ordering deadline date for standard-sized items to 27 September 2019, and 16 August 2019 for non-standard sized and made-to-measure items.

Although it's not a requirement and I understand the difficulty caused by this lengthy delay, we do encourage new employees without uniforms to place their orders first and, existing permanent and returning temporary employees to place their orders in about a week. Again this is not a requirement, but just a suggestion to help enable our new employees to receive their initial uniforms as quickly as possible.

    VF's ordering website is: www.vfsolutions.com/lma

Upon entry into the ordering site, you'll notice the FY19 pricing as per the contract, and that the USACE allowance amount schedule has not changed as reflected in ER/EP 1130-2-550, Chapter 8. Please remember that under the uniform allowance authorization (UAA) system, you must add COE in front of your existing account number to gain entry into VF's ordering website (for example "COE170892").

As we remember, the revised web-based data system that was introduced last year created some challenges - not everyone was currently in the system when the ordering site was opened. Hopefully there are no lingering issues, but if you are having difficulty gaining entry, please contact VF Customer Service center at 800- 334-9087... and if it's a uniform authorization issue (or account number/password issue), please send an e-mail to your District Uniform Coordinator and your MSC/Division Uniform Committee member (committee member addresses are below) and they will take action with your situation. Some new employees may not yet have an account number and password. Lost or forgotten passwords, may be obtained from your Division Uniform Committee member. Please remember these numbers are no longer being mailed to employees but are being provided to your Division Uniform Committee member.

Note that we are modifying the contract to add and/or replace several existing items but that these items will not be available until next year (FY20). Please do not delay your order in anticipating of new items being introduced this year. More information on these new items will be provided later.

In speaking on behalf of National Park Service who worked diligently to accept our funds and our district uniform coordinators and Division Uniform Committee members who established employee accounts and fielded many questions and concerns, I know the frustrations that this delay has caused - impacting our NRM employees and projects from doing their work and mission responsibilities in a productive and safe manner.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Stephen Austin, Natural Resources Manager
Senior Policy Advisor for Park Ranger
