Environmental Stewardship (ENS) 101 Class Announcement
Please see attached announcement and details for the next two sessions of the ENS 101
course. This course is designed for Corps NRM staff to gain an understanding of the guiding
principles of the USACE environmental stewardship program and build an awareness of the
resources available to support management of an ENS program at the project level.
The inaugural class held at J. Percy Priest Lake in the Nashville District earlier this year
received great reviews from the participants, with 100% stating that the training provided them
with skills or conceptual understanding that will allow them to do their job better. The
opportunity to visit a few Corps sites during the field trip sessions and see ENS principles in
action was also a big hit with the participants.
