election of Mr Jeffrey Krause as the Chief, Natural Resource Management Branch, Directorate of Civil Works, HQ USACE
I am pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Jeffrey Krause for the position of Chief, Natural Resource Management Branch HQUSACE within the Directorate of Civil Works, Operations and Regulatory Division. Jeff will take his position effective 29 April 2018.
Mr. Krause is a biologist who started his USACE career in 1992 with the Baltimore District as a Department of the Army Intern and went on to work in Planning, Engineering and Operations. He completed his Baltimore District tenure with 16 years in Operations as a Wildlife Biologist at Raystown Lake where he was selected to serve on numerous national leadership teams to support the NRM Community of Practice. From Baltimore, Jeff went on the Institute for Water Resources and served as the HQ Environmental Stewardship Program and Business Line Manager responsible for stewardship programs including strategic planning, performance tracking, selected HQ remaining items and most significantly national budget and development, defense and management.
Jeff arrives at HQ with a broad range of experience at the highest levels of the federal government, including efforts with USFWS on hatchery and species conservation management, advancing the Corps use of the Veterans Curation Program, and serving on the White House Task Force for Pollinator Health to name a few. Jeff is an avid outdoorsman and spends significant time fishing USACE reservoirs. Please join us in welcoming Jeff to our Operations and Regulatory leadership team. Jeff will take his position effective 29 April 2018.
