Re: FY18 NRM Uniform Program Ordering Deadlines (31 August -- Made-to-Measure and Non-Standard Size Items; 28 September -- Standard Size Uniform Items)
FOR: All U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees authorized to wear the Natural Resources Management (NRM) uniform. Please forward this information to all NRM uniformed employees who are authorize to wear the NRM uniform per ER 1130-2- 550, Chapter 8, and please encourage everyone to order now.
The following FY18 NRM Uniform Program ordering deadlines are as follows:
31 August 2018: Last day that made-to-measure and non-standard-sized items can be ordered. (Non-standard items are those outside the sizing charts in the catalog or on the contractor's web-site).
28 September 2018: Last day that standard-sized uniform items can be ordered. The contractor's web-site will not accept any orders after 6:00 p.m. EST on this date.
Ordering Website Opening for FY19: The opening of VF Imagewear's FY19 uniform ordering site is dependent upon the National Park Service contracting officer receiving and accepting FY19 USACE funding and forwarding the USACE delivery order to the contractor. This has been a lengthy process, however, we anticipate opening the FY19 ordering site in a timelier manner.
Because of the lengthy delay this year in opening the ordering website, the above deadline dates have been extended as much as possible to allow everyone to rectify their account situations and place FY18 uniform orders.
Reminders:
Please place all FY18 uniform orders ASAP. Add the "COE" prefix to your login account number. Use the link: Blockedhttps://uniforms.vfimagewear.com/vfweb/rwdprogram/coms/index_coe.htm Blocked to place your order. If you are having difficulty logging into the ordering site, please notify your District Uniform Coordinator or Division NRM Uniform Committee Representative. If you having difficulty with your order or uniform items, please contact VF Imagewear customer service at 1-800-545-6591. Please note that new items are being wear-tested and evaluated but that it will be mid-year in FY19 before new items can be introduce into the program.
FOR: Division NRM Uniform Program Committee Members and District Uniform Program Coordinators who are responsible for creating or modifying individual uniform allowance account information.
The following FY18 uniform program end-of-year /close-out procedures are as follows:
28 September 2018: Last day that any individual uniform allowance account information can be created or modified for FY18. The individual allowance account database will not be available after 6:00 p.m. EST on this date. This date has been designated to ensure enough time is allotted for account reconciliation for FY18.
1 October 2018: Administrative functions to allow individual uniform allowance account maintenance for FY19 will become available.
EVERYONE: Please remember if you have questions concerning individual allowance accounts, contact your District Uniform Coordinator or Division Uniform Committee Representative. If you have a question on your specific uniform order or uniform items, please contact VF Customer Service at 1-800-545-6591.
Through the help and direct assistance from the NRM Uniform Committee Representatives, District Uniform Coordinators, and VF Imagewear, we have made significant progress under the challenging new contract from when the ordering site was opened on 26 June. I know there are still a few lingering individual issues, so please try and resolve these problems AND place your orders as soon as possible.
