Now Open - 2018 USACE Park Ranger Safety Survey!
Operations Chiefs and NRM COP: I'm pleased to announce that the 2018 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Park Ranger Safety Survey is now open through 15 September 2018. This survey is being conducted on an annual basis to obtain consistent and timely feedback from the park ranger/natural resources management (NRM) community regarding park ranger safety and operational concerns within the NRM program. All park rangers and other natural resources management employees who work under the NRM program at the project, district and MSC levels are highly encouraged to participate in this survey. This includes students, seasonal and temporary hires.

The survey is found at https://cfapps.m vr.usace.army.mil/rangerapp/default.cfm and should take 10-20 minutes to complete. When pulling up the survey, select the email certificate when prompted. Immediately following the survey are several questions on the NRM uniform program. The survey is anonymous, even though it is CAC enabled, there is no personally identifiable information captured. You are encouraged to use job titles instead of individual names in all written comments. Paper copies of the survey are available on the main menu of the above link for employees who do not have a CAC or access to a USACE computer. Individuals who complete the paper survey should send the document to their MSC representative on the Park Ranger Community of Practice (CoP) Advisory Board. The Advisory Board members and their contact information is attached. This survey is the product of the Park Ranger CoP Advisory Board, whose goal is to focus on employee safety and security at USACE projects by obtaining employee input in a timely and consistent basis in order to recommend program improvements and stay relevant in a changing environment.
