VF Imagewear Uniform Ordering Website Now Open - Please Read Below Before Ordering
I'm pleased to announce that the VF Imagewear uniform ordering website is now open and employees who are authorized to wear the USACE Natural Resources Management (NRM) Uniform, under ER/EP 1130-2-550, Chapter 8, "Uniforms for NRM Program Staff", can now place their FY18 uniform orders. Please note that under the new uniform allowance authorization (UAA) system, that you must add COE in front of your existing account number to gain entry into VF's ordering website (for example "COE170892"). VF's ordering website is: htt ps://uniforms.vfimagewear.com/vfweb/uniforms/coms/index_lma.htm
I want to be completely upfront and caution everyone that, with any new web- based data system, there will be some challenges. For several reasons, not everyone is currently in the system and if you are having difficulty gaining entry, please contact VF Customer Service center at 800-334-9087... and if it's a uniform authorization issue (or account number/password issue), please send an e-mail to your District Uniform Coordinator and your MSC/Division Uniform Committee member (committee member addresses are below) and they will take action with your situation. Some new employees may not have an account number and password. These numbers are no longer being mailed to employees but are being provided to your Division Uniform Committee member. We are working with VF to get these accounts processed and numbers available to everyone quickly.
Upon entry, you'll notice the FY18 pricing as per the new contract and that the USACE allowance amount schedule has not changed except for the daily-wear replacement allowance for permanent employees which is $250.00 to reflect the allowance schedule in the current ER/EP 1130-2-550, Chapter 8.
In speaking on behalf for your Uniform Committee members who have been working diligently to make sure everyone is being moved from the government UAA system to the new VF system, we know the frustrations that this delay has caused - impacting our NRM employees and projects from doing their work and mission responsibilities in a productive and safe manner.
As mentioned in my previous e-mail, the FY18 closeout out period (i.e. the deadline for ordering made-to-measure items which is usually during third week in July; and all other orders usually by the first week in September) may be extended. However, even with the possible extension, it's important that you get your orders in as soon as possible.
We will provide updated information and address any systemic issues and challenges as they arise.
