Year End OMBIL Data & Review Suspense - 31 October 2017
Please see the attached memo from Chief of Operations, Mr. Smith with guidance regarding OMBIL data review and verification.

October is the designated month for ALL business lines to review and verify OMBIL data for completeness and accuracy. All data for Fiscal Year 2017 should be entered in the system and verified by close of business, 31 October 2017.

This is not a new requirement. Staff within each Operations business line should be well-trained and aware of the process and tools available for accomplishing this annual update. Above all, make sure these data comport with the definitions contained in the OMBIL Data Input and Report User's Manual. Please ensure that persons updating the data have access to and knowledge of the data field definitions. The definitions for all of these data fields are found at https://ombil.usace.army. mil/WebHelp/ombil.htm.

Your continued leadership support to reinforce the importance of OMBIL data and to provide "quality assurance" on these data. We have to get this right and with your help we will.
