Veteran's Day Recreation Day Use Fee Waiver November 11, 2016
Attached is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fee Free Day memorandum for Veterans Day, 11 November 2016. This initiative was first instituted in 2006 with the intent to support and honor the men and women who have served the Nation in the armed services. All day use fees for veterans, active and reserve component service members, and their families visiting Corps-managed recreation areas will be waived on Veterans Day. This waiver covers boat launch ramp and swim beach fees. The waiver does not apply to camping and camping-related services, or fees for specialized facilities such as group picnic shelters.
