    NPLD Video Contest
NEEF is excited to announce the launch of the "I Love My Land" National Video Contest. In an effort to raise awareness and excitement around Public Lands, and more specifically, National Public Lands Day on September 24th, we are asking the public to create videos showing how much they love and appreciate their public lands. Entrants will have an opportunity to win a large screen TV, REI camping gear, a GoPro, tablet and more. We will also be launching a Thunderclap to help amplify the message and raise awareness about the video contest. Thunderclap is a website that allows people to pledge to Tweet or Facebook a message all on the same day at the exact time in order to achieve the maximum effect. Think of this action as an online flash mob in support of our public lands. Please go to our Thunderclap page and click to either pledge a Tweet, Facebook or Tumblr post to the cause. Please help us spread the word about NPLD and the "I Love My Land" contest by sharing information through your social media feeds. We have compiled a social media tool kit (attached), which consists of the following items: Short message/email to send to friends and colleagues to help promote and raise awareness about the video contest. "I Love My Land" website URL to learn more about the contest and where you can encourage others to join. The "I Love My Land" video which will be posted on Facebook as part of a paid advertising campaign. "I Love My Land" Logo. A blog describing what the video contest is, which you are welcome to publish and distribute. Social Media hashtag for the contest. Sample Tweets/Facebook posts you can use to help promote the contest. Video Contest Press Release. Facebook & Twitter Memes (graphics to post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Google +).
