Request for Nominations - FY 15 National Operations Project Manager Career Assignment Program - Suspense 15 October 2014
The OPM CAP program is an important element of our staff development and developing future leaders. I know that many folks were busy with year-end close out and thus I am extending the suspense for nominations for this crical program to 15 October 2014. I encourage you to identify CAP locations and nominate individuals to participate. Please send your submissions to Mr. Eugene Goff, Chair, OPM CoP Advisory Board.

On behalf of Mr. James R. Hannon, I am pleased to announce the FY 15 Request for Nominations for the National Operations Project Manager Career Assignment Program (OPM CAP). This successful staff development program continues to enable USACE to continue to develop our future leaders and allow opportunity for staff to gain valuable experience in USACE Leadership Positions. Please share this request broadly.

Also, as you may be aware, as part of my commitment to the USACE, I have accepted to serve as the Chair of the Operations Project Manager Community of Practice Advisory Board (OPM CoP).

During my appointment, I look forward to working with everyone and strive for continued success to enhance the overarching responsibilities of the Operations managed Business Lines - working with continued relationships & communications to allow all USACE Divisions and Districts perform work requirements from the same platform.

I will facilitate this OPM CAP program with a positive and energetic approach to support the supervisors, applicants and the proponents (field offices) available to participate in and/or offer an OPM CAP location for selected individuals. As the many of us know, we would not be where we are today, without this developmental program and we truly appreciate your support and participation of these leadership development opportunities.

Please contact me with any questions you may have, I look forward to hearing from you.

    Respectfully,

    Eugene Goff
Chair, Operations Project Manager Community of Practice Advisory Board
