Status of the Natural Resources Management (Park Ranger) Uniform Program
The National Park Service, who administers the interagency uniform contract, has informed us that there will be a delay in opening the FY15 uniform program until November. The NPS financial management system is down due to the start of the new FY, and funds cannot be obligated. In addition, each agency will be required to fully fund their annual uniform costs before shipments can begin. We will be able to fund our agency's portion of the contract by the end of October and will let you know when uniform orders can be placed with VF Imagewear.

District Uniform Coordinators -- The Uniform Allowance Authorization (UAA) site is open and running and data is being extracted to the contractor now. However, no processing of orders and shipping actions will occur on the VF side until they are given the authorization from NPS that funds are in place and ordering may resume. Please use this time to check your temp/seasonal accounts and make adjustments. Remember the data for temp/seasonal accounts now carries over in the current UAA program, but the if the individuals are still in active work status, you must reauthorize their accounts with the new FY.

Thanks for your understanding and support.
    Steve Austin, Natural Resources Manager
