2014 Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Career Assignment Program (ECS-CAP) Selections
We've completed the HQ-level evaluations of the nomination packages (a total of 11) submitted for the 2014 Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Career Assignment Program (ECS- CAP) positions.

The selectees for 2014 are Mr. Brian Woodroof (HNC) for the Feb-Jul position, and Ms. Amelia Bourne (NAE) for the Aug 2014-Jan 2015 position. Our congratulations go out to Mr. Woodroof and Ms. Bourne, in particular, and Honorable Mention goes to the first runner-up, Mr. Jim Byrne (NWS)!

Each of the 11 nominations we received was well prepared, and all were competitive. The caliber of the nominees and their outstanding careers and accomplishments clearly demonstrate a high level of interest and commitment to environmental compliance and sustainability throughout the Corps of Engineers. We could not have asked for a better response from the MSCs on our Request for Nominations (attached).

HNC and NAD, and the selectees, have verified acceptance and intent to complete their respective ECS-CAP assignments. At this point in time, funding is available for both positions. We are looking forward to working with the selectees to arrange for their arrival at HQ USACE. Once again, thank you for your support of the ECS-CAP nomination process. If you have any questions or recommendations on any aspect of the ECS-CAP program, please direct your questions to John Coho, John.W.Coho@USACE.Army.mil) or Antonia Giardina, Antonia.R.Giardina@USACE.Army.mil).
