CRAFT Data Entry and Review Guidance version 14 June 2013
MSC Sustainability POCs: The attached document is the initial release (version 14 June 2013)
of CRAFT Data Entry and Review Guidance. The attached guidance was developed
collaboratively by EM CX, ERDC, HQ USACE, and various MSC, District and facility-level
CRAFT data entry POCs.
The guidance provides step-by-step instructions for those
new to CRAFT data entry and can also be used by personnel familiar with CRAFT and Tableau
who may have questions regarding specific data entry and review requirements and
CRAFT/Tableau capabilities. It also provides guidance on MSC and District-level data review
& check-off, correction of current and past years' data, and use of Tableau visualizations for
data review and quality control.
We request your support to distribute this guidance to
your Districts and projects as appropriate.
If you're familiar with the CRAFT data
entry web pages, you'll notice that many of the screen shots in the guidance include changes
that are currently pending release. The changes to the CRAFT web pages are intended to
streamline access to the various data entry pages, but they do not impact any of the data in
CRAFT. The changes you see depicted in the screen shots in the attached guidance will
"go-live" on Monday, 17 June 2013.
To assist folks Corps-wide in understanding and
implementing the attached guidance, EM CX (Sandy Frye and Melissa Kemling) will be
conducting 3 training webinars to walk you through the CRAFT Data Entry and Review
guidance over the next few weeks. The date/time and call-in/log-in details for the webinars
are listed below.
The web training schedule for using the new CRAFT Data Entry and
Review Guidance and the new guidance document are posted on the EKO Sustainability
page at https://eko.usace.army.mil/usacecop/environ
