Delivery of the FY04 Annual Day Use Passes
Last week, I requested a status on the delivery of the FY04 Annual Day Use Passes. They were due 1 October.

Unfortunately, the order had been misplaced at GPO. Once it was found, an expedited printing and delivery order was placed with the printing contractor. GPO advises that the passes should be delivered to our Supply Depot by 8 December.

When the passes arrive, I will run an OMBIL report of the passes you requested for FY04. The passes will be distributed according to that report. As always, the passes will be sent to the districts, which will then make distribution to the projects.

I will advise you as soon as the passes arrive and provide you a copy of the OMBIL report we will use for initial distribution. If you need more passes than the report shows, you may order them directly from the Depot through your regular ordering procedure. After the initial distribution is made, your special orders will be filled. There should be sufficient passes to meet everyone's needs.

I apologize for this late delivery. I understand this will inconvenience you, as well as our customers who wish to purchase passes early for holiday gifts. We will do our best to get the passes to you as soon as we get them here.
