    NRAP Q&A's Corps Castle
The attached Q&As are for your use in discussions on where we are headed with levels of service/performance in our Natural Recreation Program. As you all recall, the MSC NRM program managers and others met in Atlanta last month and began to develop some ways forward with regard to a National Recreation Adjustment Plan. This is not some new initiative but is a continuation of our National Recreation Strategic Plan.

This initial effort is the start of developing a National Recreation Adjustment Plan. However, full development and implementation begins at the District and Division/Regional levels. The MSC Recreation Team put the enclosed Q&A document together to give a brief update on the expectations for the plan. It is necessarily general at this time as other details are being worked with the team. The intent is to have a draft plan available for internal review at the end of March. Our goal is to have a plan that can be effectively communicated and begin implementing in FY13.

We are making a strong effort to use consistent message across the enterprise to avoid confusion and misunderstanding. I am asking that each of you share this information with you Commanders and Regional Governance Boards as well as within the Operations Community. Your input and feedback on this direction is important and solicited. Thanks for your support and assistance with this effort. POCs for this effort are Pep Persio and Mary Coulombe.
