VERS Modernization Update
The attached memorandum announces that efforts to improve the Corps of Engineers Visitation Estimation and Reporting System (VERS) are advancing along a number of fronts. FY 13 begins the transition period for the new VERS framework for the nation.

FY 13 visitation reporting utilizing the survey results and meter readings will be developed in early FY14. Additional surveys in 2014 and 2015 are anticipated to improve use estimates and allow for unique characteristics of areas not included in the previous sampling.
