Strategic Plan Progress
Enclosed is the USACE National Recreation Program Strategic Plan's First Annual Progress Report - June 2012.

The USACE NRM Strategic Plan was implemented in April 2011 and has established long-term goals for our Recreation Program. USACE will continue to provide safe, quality, outdoor recreation opportunities consistent with available funding. The implementation efforts highlighted in this report provide field managers continuing direction and guidance to assist in transforming and repositioning their programs for the future.

This progress report illustrates the degree to which the challenges of increasing demands on the Corps resources and facilities have been addressed. It highlights each goal's current status, actions taken to-date and proposed future actions.

The Goal Team Leaders can provide further information about actions within their Goals. I am certain that they would appreciate your thoughts, comments and participation in goal actions.
