Other Information: his workshop will bring together field practitioners, researchers, and natural resource managers to address the mounting challenges posed by giant salvinia. The event is designed to bridge the gap between science and management by providing a forum to discuss the latest control strategies, share field-level challenges, and develop a community of practice focused on improving giant salvinia management. Participants will gain up-to-date knowledge on the biology, ecology, and integrated pest management of giant salvinia and can take back practical techniques to protect USACE missions. The workshop will also include two full days of presentation and discussion and an optional half- day field tour.
