Other Information: Please join us on Wednesday, December 10 from 12:00 – 1:00 Pacific/3:00 –
4:00 Eastern for a webinar provided by USACE and The Corps Network to learn
about how we can partner through cooperative agreements for natural resource
management work.
Founded in 1985, The Corps Network is the National Association of Service
and Conservation Corps. Their membership of 150 Corps provides young adults
and veterans the opportunity to serve our country through projects on public
lands and in rural and urban communities. The Corps Network supports Corps
through advocacy, providing access to funding and project opportunities, and
by offering expertise in Corps operations and programming.
Mission: The Corps Network advances programs that transform young
people’s lives and communities through career development, conservation, and
civic engagement.
Vision: Every young person in America has access to a meaningful Corps
experience and an opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives and in
their communities.
There is a strong emphasis in the FY 26 NRM Strategic Staffing and
Operation Plan to address staffing shortages by expanding agreements with
youth conservation corps to provide cost-effective labor for maintenance,
visitor services, education, and stewardship. The goal is to increase
conservation corps participation by 25% for FY26.
Now is a great time to recruit interns or work crews for 2026! Learn about
the types of work that The Corps Network member’s interns and crews can do
for USACE and the process to obtain interns/crews.
