Directions: Lewisville Lake/Elm Fork Project Office
From north or south I-35E, exit FM 407/Justin Road and head east. Continue east on Lake
Park Road to the four-way intersection. Turn right onto Mill St. and the project office is
100 yards down on the right.
Big Sandy Boat Ramp
From I-35 travel east on Swisher Road. After about 0.5 miles turn left to head north on
North Shady Shores Road. Then travel 2.5 miles to Big Sandy Boat Ramp which will be on the
right.
Doe Branch Park
From U.S. 380 (University Drive) turn south onto South Paloma Creek Blvd and continue
until you reach the park entrance.
Hickory Creek Park
Coming Northbound on I-35, take exit 458 toward Swisher Rd/FM-2181. Make the U-turn under
I-35 at the Swisher Rd/FM-2181 intersection and head South on the I-35 frontage road. Turn
right on Turbeville Rd, then turn left on Point Vista. The park will be down on your right
hand side.
Coming Southbound on I-35, take exit 458 toward Swisher Rd/FM-2181. Stay on the Southbound
frontage road and turn on right on Turbeville Rd. Next, turn left on Point Vista and the
park will be down on your right hand side.
1201 Point Vista, Hickory Creek, Texas
Westlake Park
From north I-35E, exit Lake Dallas/Hickory Creek. Turn left onto S. Denton Drive and
continue to four-way intersection next to Sonic restaurant. Turn right onto Main St. and
continue to park entrance.
Factoid: Just north of Dallas, popular Lewisville Lake is a 29,592 acre lake with unlimited outdoor
recreation opportunities. Over 20 parks surround the lake and offer camping, hiking,
picnicking, horseback riding, boating, and golf.
