Directions and Factoids
Directions: The Visitor Center is located at the foot of Canal Park Drive a few blocks from downtown Duluth, or from I-35, at exit 256-B. There is nearby parking.

Factoid: At the western end of Lake Superior, Duluth-Superior Harbor offers a close view of commercial shipping, lighthouses, a park, and a lakewalk. The Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center exhibits the Corps' role in harbor and connecting channel development. All aspects of shipping are displayed with ship artifacts, scale models, and a full size pilot house replica. School and community group programs are extensive. For a live view of the harbor click on the following: Duluth Superior Webcam.

NOTICE: Many states are discouraging or banning movement of firewood to control spread of the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB). Not bringing wood from home to your campsite and not taking unused wood you procure while camping home with you is recommended -- required in some states. Check the following website to learn more: http://www.emeraldashborer.info/
