Directions: Approximately 65 miles North Northeast of Indianapolis. From Peru, south on IN 31, east on IN 400, north on Rt. 550.

Lake History

Factoid: Mississinewa Lake exists as a cooperative management effort between the Corps of Engineers and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. Mississinewa Lake has 15,072-acres of total area with a 3,180-acre summer pool. This makes Mississinewa Lake the 5th largest lake wholly in the state of Indiana. The property's main mission is flood mitigation along the Mississinewa river and the Wabash river that it flows into. The Mississinewa Lake region offers many opportunities to enjoy wildlife or recreate in the great outdoors.
