Directions: From Route 2 at Gardner, MA, take Route 68 south to Route 62, west 2 miles to Barre Falls
Dam entrance.
Factoid: The Mid-State Hiking Trail traverses the park and provides easy access to this popular local
hiking activity. Picnicking, disc golf, canoeing, fishing and hunting are popular summer
sports. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are prominent in winter. Wildlife viewing and
scenery observation of the Ware River Watershed are popular year-round. For up-to-date
