Directions and Factoids
Directions: From I-49 take exit 215 onto LA-1 North, drive and turn east on LA-169, then north on Crouch
Dam Rd. Drive straight until you reach the park.
Factoid: The recreation opportunities for visitors at Caddo Lake are numerous thanks to the many
privately owned recreational businesses such as restaurants, site seeing tours, and
marinas. Caddo Lake Dam has facilities for bank fishing at the dam, which is operated by
the Corps. Views from the dam show a glimpse of the largest Cypress forest in the world
which can be found on Caddo Lake. Additionally, several Louisiana parishes operate parks on
Caddo lake as well as the State of Texas.
