Directions and Factoids
Directions: From downtown Springfield, follow Columbia St. (US40/OH4) east, then continue following OH 4 north after the split with US 40 through Springfield to Croft Rd. Turn right on Croft and left onto Overlook Drive following the Visitor Center signs.

Factoid: The US Army Corps of Engineers operates a Visitor Center and three recreation areas providing reserveable picnic shelters, restroom facilities, playground equipment, and shoreline fishing access with an accessible fishing pier. A paved bike trail connects to a regional network of trails, and several miles of hiking trails meander through woodlands and a restored prairie. Canoe and kayak access to Buck Creek is also available. At adjacent Buck Creek State Park, there is a campground, rental cabins, a marina, swimming beach, and trails.

NOTICE: Many states are discouraging or banning movement of firewood to control spread of the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB). Not bringing wood from home to your campsite and not taking unused wood you procure while camping home with you is recommended -- required in some states. Check the following website to learn more: http://www.emeraldashborer.info/
