Directions and Factoids
Directions: From Topeka take US 24 Hwy east 17 miles to Perry. Turn left on Ferguson Road north of
Perry for about 2 miles. Turn left at 39th Street (Spillway Road) and travel about 1 mile,
then turn right on Perry Park Drive. The brick building on the right is the U.S. Army Corps
of Engineers information center.
Factoid: Located conveniently near the cities of Topeka, Lawrence, and Kansas City, Perry Lake boasts
a wide variety of recreational opportunities. The lake is proud to host the 30-mile Perry
Lake National Recreational Hiking Trail, renowned for its rugged terrain. Hikers will enjoy
the scenic beauty of the 30-mile National Recreation Trail which follows the eastern
shoreline. From Topeka 17 mi NE on US 24 to Perry.
