Directions and Factoids
Directions: From Brattleboro Vermont take VT Route 30 for 18.3 miles, then take left on Dam Road for .3 miles and Recreation Entrance will be on your right.
Factoid: Families from near and far come to enjoy this area's extensive shaded picnic area. Picnic tables, grills, drinking water, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, playgrounds, and modern restrooms are provided. Family reunions and special get-togethers can be enjoyed at any one of the three picnic shelters that can be reserved for a small fee. Below the picnic area, the sandy beach is great for sunbathing and swimming. The swimming area is shallow enough for kids yet deep enough for those wanting to swim laps. A boat ramp is available for launching small boats, canoes, and kayaks.
