Directions: From the I-77/I-64 split in Charleston, WV, take Route 60 East approximately 11 miles to the Dupont exit. Follow route 60/12 back downriver approximately 0.9 mile.

Factoid: Marmet Lock and Dam is a navigation facility on the Kanawha River. It consists of 2 lock chambers, a dam and a hydroelectric power plant operated by American Electric Power Co.Recreation activities include fishing, picnicing and sightseeing.

NOTICE: Many states are discouraging or banning movement of firewood to control spread of the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB).
