Directions: From I-395 Exit 50, take CT 200 to CT 193 and follow signs.
Factoid: The natural setting surrounding West Thompson Lake is enjoyed year-round. Pleasing views
from the dam offer sightseers and photographers a panoramic view of the area. Visitors
will discover the biodiversity of nature as they explore our recreation areas.
Recreation features include: the West Thompson Lake Campground, hiking trails, the
Quinebaug River Water Trail (for canoes and kayaks), Disc Golf Course, picnic shelters,
hunting and fishing. Fees are required for some facilities. Campground reservations are
recommended. For up-to-date information, call (860) 923-2982.
