Story: A demand for a brochure and map which provide orientation to the recreation, fish and wildlife resources of Milford Lake inspired the US Army Corps of Engineers and Partners to work together to provide current and accurate information and to work cooperatively to make this brochure available for free distribution to the public, thus, promoting visitation to Milford Lake. For the first time, community partners were brought on board and made an integral part of this brochure update. Each of the Partners were given one panel on the brochure to promote their affiliation with the lake. With the community involvement, now the brochure offers "one stop shopping" to the lake area with a more "user friendly" atmosphere for out of town visitors. The Corps and Partners more than doubled the number of brochures being produced and distributed without any extra cost to the Corps.
