Q: In 2011 Seattle was able to obtain ORI numbers for NWS and NWW. ORI or Originating Agency Identifier Numbers allow NRM employees with citation authority permission to contact their local or state LE offices to request vehicle or boat registration information legally.

If there are any districts that still do not have this service please delegate one spokes person to contact John Derby at 206-764-3754 for information on how to obtain your ORI numbers. John will walk you through the process. The Corps has a spokes person in Fort Belvoir VA who was instrumental in allowing NWS and NWW to have our ORI numbers.

Let's make sure everyone can go home at night.
