Q: How do other projects (campground) handle the issue of livestock verse exotic pets- example pot belly pigs? Do you allow pot belly pigs in the campground? What about other exotic pets and your policy?
A: 06/24/14 - In regard to the question about pot belly pigs and other livestock: As stated in Title 36 under 327.11 Control of Animals (d) "Ranging, grazing, watering or allowing livestock on project lands and wtaers is prohibited except when authorized by lease, license or other written agreement with the District Commander." Also, please review all points (a) - (g) under this section. At our project, we have not allowed goats or other farm animals without proper authorization from higher authority. Thank you.
