6 December 2012NRM and Park Ranger SmartBooks and How to Maintain your RecordEvery Park Ranger is a member of both the Natural Resources Management (NRM) and the Park Ranger CoPs, and should be listed the SmartBook of each. The NRM SmartBook gives a complete listing of logistical and POC information for each CoP member. The Park Ranger SmartBook is a briefer display of members names, duty stations, and professional organization affiliations. Each CoP gets different emails such as some Gateway Glimpses that go to just the Park Ranger CoP, so you want to make sure your listing is correct in both. If you transfer to a new location that is a good time to review and update your information. You can help keep the SmartBook up to date by editing the records of Park Rangers who you know have retired (delete their record) or by adding/editing the records of those who do not have CAC access to add/update their own record. |
