Southwestern Division Regional Conference for Operation Project Managers
From 2-4 December 2008 the Little Rock District hosted the Southwestern Division Regional Conference for Operation Project Managers. The focus of this conference was to mobilize the implementation of the SWD USACE Recreation Strategy Plan. Contributors and participants represented HQ, ERDC, all Districts within SWD, and Vicksburg and St. Louis District's. An emphasis on understanding, acceptance and development of energies that vitalize atypical approaches to policy and procedures and evaluation of best business practices in times of shifting funding allocations within the recreation program.
