Emergent nuisance and invasive plants present a diverse set of challenges for aquatic
and natural area managers. Living in two worlds, emergent plants have developed
adaptations to thrive both above and below the water surface. While this often makes
control inherently more difficult, it may also present opportunities that are advantageous
to aquatic managers. This webinar focuses on integrating basic biology and ecology of
aquatic emergent plants with management tools and tactics. Key species from across the
US are addressed as well as questions and answers provided by participants.
