Nuisance plant management in aquatic systems, natural areas, and agricultural settings
has become increasingly significant over the past several decades. However, there are
few continuing education opportunities for professionals working in these fields. To
address this, the University of Florida has developed an online graduate certificate
program to provide individuals with further education on the biology, ecology, and
management of weedy and invasive plant species. This talk will explain what the
certificate program entails, including requirements for admission and coursework.
